Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI)

A function category which supports all functions of the other process instruction types except type 3, process data subscription.

The universal process instruction is used as follows:

• For control recipes that are sent to control recipe destinations of type 4 (browser-based PI sheet)
• For defining process manufacturing cockpits

In a single universal process instruction category of type 0, you can define the following for the PI sheet or process manufacturing cockpit:

• Information is displayed in long text
• Actual data is sent to other SAP applications
• Values are calculated
• Branching to other SAP applications is possible

For each process instruction, you can send one, several or no process messages and confirm a characteristic of the instruction.
