This function lets you "freeze", or save, the summarized report data in its current state. The function is only active if the system selected the data from the database, and can also only be performed once per session. When you use this function, the system also saves the current report definition -- including any changes you made during navigation (see Save structure).

If frozen report data already exists for this report from an earlier session, the system asks you whether you want to overwrite this data.
