You can use the IColumnModelCustomer interface to display customer-specific texts from the standard picklist or from a customer-specific picklist in a separate column in the data entry area of CATS notebook. These customer-specific texts can be used to provide users with explanatory information on working time attributes (such as WBS elements), since internally they are represented only by a key, which is not as easy to remember.

If you display customer-specific texts in the data entry area of CATS notebook, you can also use SAP enhancement CATS0009 (Customer-Specific Text Fields in Data Entry Section) to implement the enhancement in SAP R/3. This, however, is not mandatory.
