Work Clearance Management (PM-WCM)

A condition of an item in an Operational WCD that defines what state an item must have for lockout/tagout.

You differentiate between a tagging condition and a (temporary) untagging condition.

Example

You need to close a mechanical valve for tagging, and re-open for untagging:

• Tagging condition CLOSED - the valve is closed
• Untagging condition OPEN - the valve is open
