Document Management (CA-DMS)

A categorization of documents in the Document Management System according to their distinguishing characteristics and the organizational procedures that result from them.

The following criteria are used:

• Status processing
• Version assignment
• Type of number assignment
• Internal number range
• External number range

Examples of document types supported in the standard system are:

• Print list
• Quality agreement
• Technical delivery terms
