You use this procedure to adjust the SAP@Web Studio user interface to suit your needs.

The tables below describe the functions for adjusting the SAP@Web Studio user interface.

Displaying and Hiding Windows

Display/hide HTML Tags window

Choose View ® HTML Tags. This is a toggle operation.

To hide the HTML Tags window, you can also click the Close button.

Only in HTMLBusiness editor’s HTML Source view.

Display/hide Toolbox window

Choose View ® Toolbox. This is a toggle operation.

To hide the Toolbox window, you can also click the Close button.

Only in HTMLBusiness editor’s Design view.

Display/hide Properties window

Choose View ® Properties. This is a toggle operation.

To hide the Properties window, you can also click the Close button.

Only in HTMLBusiness editor’s Design view.

Display/hide message area

Choose View ® Messages. This is a toggle operation.

To hide the message area, you can also click the Close button.

Sizing and Docking Windows

All SAP@Web Studio windows are resizable and dockable.

Function

Procedure

Adjust relative window size

  1. Place cursor at edge of a window until you see a sizing handle.
  2. Drag in either direction until you achieve the desired size.

Dock / undock windows

You can dock the Workspace, HTML Tags, Toolbox and Properties windows to the edge of the SAP@Web Studio’s outer frame or undock them and leave them floating.

  • To dock a window, double-click the title bar or drag the window to the left or right of the frame

You can also dock windows together side by side in the same vertical tier. To do this, dock a window to the edge of the frame and drag the next window to the same edge and to the end of the previously docked window.

  • To undock a window and leave it floating, double-click the title bar or drag the window in any direction outside the window area

Tiling Editor Windows

If you have one or more editor windows open, you can tile the windows and arrange the icons of minimized windows with the functions in the Windows menu.

Display cascading windows.

Choose Window ® Cascade.

Tile windows horizontally.

Choose Window ® Tile Horizontal.

Tile windows vertically.

Choose Window ® Tile Vertical.

Arrange icons of previously minimized windows.

Choose Window ® Arrange Icons.

Close all windows.

Choose Window ® Close All.

Switch to a different window.

  1. Choose Window ® Window List.
  2. Select window you want to activate.

Toggling Workspace Views

Display files in R/3 Repository

Switching Between Editor Views

When you have opened an HTML template for editing, you can toggle between several views:

Choose View ® Design.

Display HTML template context data

Choose View ® Context Data.

Display flow logic in associated flow file

Choose View ® Flow Source.

Display graphical representation of flow file

Choose View ® Flow Chart.

Display HTML template layout

Choose View ® Preview.

Displaying / Hiding Toolbars

You can display or hide as many toolbars as you like.

To display / hide a toolbar:

  1. Choose View ® Toolbars.
  2. Choose the toolbar you want to display / hide.
