Installing CATS notebook

You must perform the following steps on the notebook:

Installing the Application

Start the Mobile Engine.

Access the Mobile Engine Home page in the Web browser.

Choose My Settings.

Enter the following parameters:

If required, enter additional parameters (such as the proxy server) that are dependent on your system environment.

The Mobile Engine downloads all applications designated in SAP R/3 for installation for the specified user.

Downloading User-Specific Data

Choose CATS_SETUP on the Mobile Engine Home page.

Enter the password for the displayed user.

Choose Get Data.

CATS notebook transfers the working time data for the personnel number to the notebook that is linked with the displayed user.

Once the data has been transferred from SAP R/3 to the notebook, you can start up CATS notebook.
