Use
Translators can now create worklists in order to translate a number of SAPterm entries in one step. The worklists can be filtered based on individual requirements (for example, all untranslated entries in a specific application component with status 2 or 3 in the source language).
Worklists can be created for term entries, index entries, or both categories. The worklist offers fields for the translation and the part of speech.
Superusers can also maintain the status of each term when they use the worklist, flagging terms for release (status 3) or for review (status 2).
Procedure
The Create Translation Worklist screen appears.
The system displays the Translation Worklist screen. You can see the number of entries that match your selection criteria in the title bar. The status of each term is displayed as a traffic light icon on the left-hand side of each term entry.
If you have superuser authorization, you can also maintain the status of the terms in this worklist at the same time, by clicking on traffic light icons for each entry. For more information, see
If the term you are translating is used as an index entry, you can use this function to display the info objects to which this term is assigned as an index entry. The system then displays the info objects in the logon language.

The entry conventions for SAPterm differ from those for texts translated in
transaction SE63. Consequently, you may need to change the capitalization of most of the proposals inserted into your SAPterm translation worklist.Your translations of terms in SAPterm do not need to match entries in the proposal pool. You should therefore not need to change the proposal pool here. Any changes you do make to the proposal pool will lead to modified texts appearing in
translation worklists in transaction SE63.This function allows you to display the proposal pool entry for that term. You can then copy the translation you require from the proposal pool to your SAPterm translation worklist.
This function allows you to copy the source text to your translation line.
This function allows you to look up terms in SAPterm which have the same source text as the source text in your translation worklist. You can copy a translation from SAPterm by selecting the translation you require and using the Copy translation icon in the dialog box. You can also display the terminology concept by choosing the Display term concept icon.
