Entering Actual Data and Statistical Key Figures using a Layout

Use

In Profit Center Accounting, you can, if required, post actual data which is not transferred from other applications. A profit center document is then written for each of these postings. The system enters Profit Center Accounting as the origin object.

If you transfer additional line items online to Profit Center Accounting, post the opening balance with the document entry.

If you want to use statistical key figures in Profit Center Accounting, which are not used in CO, enter the values belonging to these using a layout.

Features

SAP delivers various standard layouts. You can use these as templates for your own layouts. Alternatively, you can define your own layouts without using the standard layouts.

Once you have entered and saved the corresponding data in one of the layout entry screens, you can display your postings yourself in the layout.

Activities

You create the layouts in Customizing for Profit Center Accounting, under

Actual postings ® Manual entry using a layout ® Maintain layout for document entry .

Actual postings ® Manual entry using a layout ® Maintain layout for entry of statistical key figures.

You can also maintain the layouts in the application menu, under Actual postings ® Current settings.
