Editing the agent assignment for the task EHS_DEMO_TSK (TS11200005) and refreshing the organizational environment is executed once.

Agent Assignment

When editing the agent assignment for a workflow definition that resulted by copying from the workflow template EHS_DEMO (WS11200006), you can proceed as follows:

Agent Assignment for the Workflow Definition

  1. In the SAP R/3 screen, call the workflow definition you created by copying the workflow template EHS_DEMO (WS11200006) by choosing Tools ® Business Workflow ® Development ® Definition tools ® Tasks/Task groups ® Change.
  1. Enter the following data:

The system displays the Basic data tab from the Workflow Template: Change screen.

  1. Choose Additional data ® Agent assignment ® Maintain.

Here you specify generally who is permitted to execute the work items created for the workflow definition.

  1. Choose Edit ® Attributes and select the field General task in the next dialog box. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Agent Assignment for the Workflow Step

  1. Call the This graphic is explained in the accompanying textEditor function, position the cursor on the step 000004 EHS: Sample Task and choose Edit ® Change or double-click the workflow step in the graphic.
  2. The system displays the Control tab in the WF Editor: Edit Step: Activity screen.

  3. In the Agent group box, edit the Pers. responsible field and the Excluded field, if necessary.

Here you are setting which persons are to receive the work items that are generated by the workflow step.

  1. In the Control tab in the group box Task properties, call the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text icon to edit the agent assignment for the standard task TS11200005 (EHS_DEMO_TSK).

This standard task is assigned to all workflow definitions that you have created by copying the workflow template EHS_DEMO (WS11200006).

It is therefore recommended that you set the standard task as a general task.

  1. Choose Edit ® Attributes and select the field General task in the next dialog box. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  2. Go back and save.

You have now completed the editing of the agent assignment.

Updating Organizational Environments

In test systems it is necessary to update the organizational environments of the workflow definition components. Proceed as follows:

  1. In the SAP R/3 screen, choose Tools ® Business Workflow ® Development ® Runtime tools ® Start workflow.
  2. Enter the value TS11200005 in the Task field.
  3. Choose the function Refresh organizational environment.
  4. The organizational environment is refreshed.

  5. Enter <WS...> as the key for your newly created workflow definition in the Task field. .
  6. Choose the function Refresh organizational environment.
  7. The organizational environment is refreshed.
