Mandatory Social Insurance (Infotype 0400)

Definition

The 0400 infotype must exist for all employees, which contains the information required for the calculation of both the employee and company Mandatory Social Insurance (SSO) contributions.

Structure

Infotype 0400 consists of the following sections:

Basic Data

Employee SSO No.: the system contains a default value for this field. Depending on the employee’s nationality, you enter the value ‘1’ (Venezuelan) or ‘2’ (alien), followed by the employee’s ID card number.

Left-handed: checkbox you must flag if the employee is left-handed.

Risk/Percentages

Risk Code: you assign the risk code according to the employee’s personnel area and subarea. However, this code can be modified for those employees considered an exception.

Adjoining the code risk field there is another field (Association of % Risk Deduction/Contribution) that can be assigned the following values:

‘ ‘ : If the risk code corresponds to the employee’s personnel area/subarea.

‘E’: If the employee is considered as an exception.

Additionally, there is a description of the type of risk associated with the employee.

Company Contribution Percentage and Employee Deduction Percentage for SSO: fields that show the monthly percentage applied to the employee’s basic wage for calculating the company contribution and the employee deduction for Social Insurance (SSO) respectively.
