Use

Using the Alert Monitor, you can cancel force skipped tasks.

Prerequisites

You can only cancel tasks with the status of 02 Hold.

Procedure

  1. From the hierarchy tree, display the Problematic Tasks alerts located under Business Objects.
  1. From the ALV, select the row corresponding to the force skipped task that you want to cancel.
  1. From the ALV tool bar, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  1. Choose Cancel from the pop-up menu.

The Task Cancel dialog box appears, displaying the relevant force skipped task (selected) and, in the case of task bundles, the other tasks in the bundle (not selected).
  1. If any of the other tasks in the bundle have been force skipped, you can select them also by choosing the corresponding rows in the task list.
  1. From the External Reason list box, select a reason for canceling the task or tasks.
  1. Save to cancel the task or tasks.

Result

The relevant tasks are cancelled and receive the status of 06 Cancelled. They disappear from the Alert Monitor when its display is refreshed.
