Use Selection Options

Procedure

On the selection screen, enter the values you require.

If you need more selection fields in addition to those already displayed, you can insert them by choosing Further selections.

Place the cursor in the selection field for which you want to specify a selection option.

Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text , or access the dialog box that enables you to select selection options by double-clicking on the appropriate field.

Select the required selection option.

Note

The selection options displayed by the system depend on whether you entered a single value or value range for the selection field.

Result

The selection screen is displayed again. The selected selection option is displayed as an icon in front of the appropriate field, and is taken into account when the report is executed.

Note

If you work with a report variant, this function cannot be used for protected selection fields. If you choose Selection options, an appropriate message is displayed.
