Drilldown Variables
Definition
Variables are place holders for particular fields in a report definition which do not have to be replaced until the report is executed.
Use
For the flexible setting up of forms and reports, there are several variables available in each case for the characteristics named in the Structure section.
You can select several variables per characteristic, when creating forms and reports, via F4. This enables you to compare 2 characteristics in the report, in different specifications, (e.g. evaluation for budget version 0 and budget version 1 or an evaluation for 2 fiscal years).
