Use

You can define and use user statuses in addition to system statuses.

Note

User statuses are not passed on down a hierarchy If you create a project by copying another project, the user status is not copied either.

Prerequisite

You always define user statuses within a status profile. Therefore you first have to create a status profile for an object type before you can define a user status. You have to assign a status profile to a project profile or a network profile, before you can use a status profile in an application.

To use a user status in a work breakdown structure or a network, use the network or project profile to which the status profile has been assigned. You can also assign a status profile to a work breakdown structure or network in the status detail screen in the corresponding transaction. For more information, see Status Overview in Transactions
