Use

Balance sheet valuation of material stocks is generally performed using mass processing in the background. This can lead to errors or exceptional circumstances. In such cases, the R/3 System reacts by making an entry in the application log for most programs. This reduces the risk of program terminations and ensures the standardized display of errors that occur.

Analyze the application log after completing each program run. If errors are recorded, you generally have to manually process the materials affected. There is currently no interactive option for making corrections here.

Features

There are several situations that can lead to an entry in the application log.

In such cases, the system excludes the material affected from further processing and records the error in the application log.

In such cases, the system valuates the material affected according to the rule that applies and records this in the application log.

You can display and analyze the messages in several different ways.

In some programs, you can have the system print out the messages as an appendix to the print list.
