Entering and Displaying Plan Values

Prerequisites

A suitable planning layout has already been defined for you, or you use one of the standard planning layouts delivered with the R/3 System. This planning layout must be contained in the planner profile that you are working with (see Maintaining a Planner Profile).

Procedure

To access the planning function, choose one of the following:

Planning ® Costs/revenues ® Change
Planning ® Balance sheet accounts ® Change
Planning ® Statistical key figures ® Change

If you have not already specified a planner profile in this session, the system displays a dialog box in which you need to specify one.

Then the system displays the planning screen.

Note

It is possible to define planner profiles so that users can enter their plan data in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet integrated in the R/3 user interface. For more information, see Integrated Excel Integration in Planning.

Now make the desired entries on the following screens:

Characteristic screen

Overview screen

Period screen

Result

To display the plan data you entered, choose one of the following:

Planning ® Costs/revenues ® Display
Planning ® Balance sheet accounts ® Display
Planning ® Statistical key figures ® Display
