Implementation Options
In the form of Expert Finder, SAP offers you a tool with which you can support enterprise internal searches for suitable contact persons ("experts"). Expert Finder is a Web-based application that uses an HTML browser to enable users to search for suitable contact persons quickly and with ease. Furthermore, it also enables users to contact experts directly from the application.
In addition to enabling you to search master data that can be evaluated in the usual address directories, Expert Finder also makes the search for additional criteria such as project experience, interests, and particular abilities possible. Input help or free-text boxes are available for the input fields in the search.
The
Expert Search and Maintain Expert Profile processes (all users store particular personal data in their expert profile) are realized solely using a Web browser. This ensures that users are able to implement and use the application intuitively and with great ease.This application can be used by all employees at an enterprise.
Integration
Expert Finder
is a stand-alone solution but it can be completely integrated with all mySAPHR solutions.You can tailor the individual processes that comprise the expert search to suit the requirements of your enterprise. The SAP Expert Finder Implementation Guide (IMG) is available for this purpose.
