Parameter Tab Page

Use

This tab page lets you monitor and modify the profile parameters that are relevant for updates.

The various parameters are described in Main System Profile Parameters for Updates and Other System Profile Parameters.

Integration

Many parameters can be switched dynamically, and can be changed in this transaction (also in transaction RZ11); others must be modified in the profile, and do not take effect until the system is restarted.

Prerequisites

In Update Program Administration (transaction SM14) you chose the tab page Parameter.

Features/Activities

In this screen, you can

Dynamically change the parameters with a white background

Specify the desired value in the field New value, select the parameter, and then choose Change.

Apply the default value to a parameter (provided the parameter can be switched dynamically)

Select the parameter, and then click Default value.

Display the documentation on the parameter

Select the parameter, and then click Documentation. (This is the documentation that is available for all parameters in transaction RZ11 .)
