Use

This function provides you with an overview of the update requests. Under normal circumstances, this function does not display requests that have been updated successfully.

Integration

The same information is displayed when you access the administration of the update system via the button This graphic is explained in the accompanying text, and then choose All update requests or Canceled update requests. However, this function does not allow you to specify more precise selection criteria.

Prerequisites

You can use the following criteria for selecting updates:

The following status selection options are available:

  • Canceled: Display canceled updates only
  • To be updated: Display updates that have not yet been processed (the reason for this is indicated in the display; see below)

Features

Once you have entered your selection criteria and chosen This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (or pressed Enter), the system displays all the update records that match the selection criteria and that still have to be processed in full.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

The screen displaying the selected data records shows the status of each data record (see also Most Important Update Statuses).

Update currently executing, or has not started

Update records that are not yet (fully) processed are shown in green; they can be assigned different statuses (see below). No action is required on your part providing the list is not extensive and the updates are not being processed.

The following statuses are possible:

Error occurred, update request canceled

Update requests containing errors are displayed against a red background. You have to investigate these, as described in the section entitled Analyzing and Correcting Update Errors.
