Use

You can include a graphic, screenshot, video, or similar media object in an item. To do this, you must create a media info object.

Prerequisites

The media file you want to insert must be in .DOC format. If the file you want to include is in another format, save the file in a Microsoft Word document.

Procedure

  1. Choose Info Object ® New ® Info Object….

    2. The Create New Info Object wizard appears.

  2. Choose Media as the info class.

    3. Media is automatically assigned as the information category and information class.

  3. Choose Next.
  4. Enter the attributes for the info object.
  5. Drag the media document from a second Knowledge Workbench Explorer window and drop it on the Media description attribute field.
  6. Choose Finish.


Result

The media info object is created and can now be assigned to a test item: Drag the media document from a second Knowledge Workbench Explorer window and drop it on the Media Description attribute field.
