For the Internet application, the following settings must be made in Customizing for trading contracts:

For each trading contract type, you can enter an Internet address (URL) of the trading company.

Trading Contract supports the display in change mode of old versions of texts. This function is absolutely essential for displaying the negotiation text on the Internet.

Under Activate change log for item text types in Customizing, you must activate the change log for the text ID that is used as the negotiation text.

If you want to display old versions of the text in the trading contract, under Item text types for change display, you must specify text IDs that are to be used to display the old versions of the texts. Then, under Activate change log for item text types, you can assign text IDs to each of the texts that is to be saved.

You can define which organizational data (such as sales organization, purchasing organization, contract type) is transferred to the Internet application during the automatic creation of trading contracts, and which contract address is to be displayed for your trading company in the Internet application.

You make these settings under Define profile for TradingContract@Net.

Under Assignment of trading contract status to status@Net, you assign an Internet status to the various application statuses of the trading contracts created in the SAP System, taking account of the Last changed by indicator.

Under Maintain web status, you can maintain separate descriptions for the tab pages and various Internet statuses to these.

In doing so, you also define the following:

You can define, for example, that trading contracts with a certain status are not displayed, or that trading contracts with different R/3 statuses are grouped together in a tab page.
