Definition

Describes a climatic condition or a general storage condition under which an substance or product is stored. Criteria for storage conditions may, for example, include temperature, humidity, brightness, atmospheric pressure, and so on.

Use

During a stability study, you examine what effects individual storage conditions will have on specific characteristics of a product over an extended period of time (for example, in terms of shelf life or potency). When you specify the storage conditions during the stability planning phase, you can only choose storage conditions that have previously been defined in Customizing.
