Definition

The revised regulation of the Indonesian government (effective from January 1, 2001), states that if an individual joins a company within a tax year, then the new joinee has to provide all relevant tax and income information from previous employment to the current company. The Previous Employment Details Infotype (0694) stores the relevant tax information and Structure linkPTKP (untaxed income) details from the previous employment.

 

Use

This Infotype captures the following information:

This Infotype will trigger a retro run in case there is a change in the income or tax details of the employee.

 

Structure

The Previous Employment Details Infotype is divided into the following groups of data.

This section determines the untaxed salary (PTKP) that the employee is entitled to. An employee has the following untaxed salary (PTKP) entitlement:

For unmarried employees

Entitled to

  • PTKP for employee
  • PTKP for up to three dependents

For married employees

Entitled to:

  • PTKP for employee
  • PTKP for spouse
  • PTKP for up to three dependents

To be eligible for the appropriate PTKP entitlement, you must select the relevant fields in this section.

Note

The PTKP details will be read from Previous Employment Details Infotype (0694), only if you have set the Indonesian PTKP Check feature (IDPTK). To do this, in the IMG, go to Payroll Indonesia ® Tax ® Set Up Indonesia PTKP Check.

 

Integration

When saving Tax Data Indonesia Infotype (0241) record of an employee, the system checks if the employee has Previous Employment Details Infotype (0694) record, and vice versa. If the record exists, the PTKP (untaxed income) details of the two Infotypes are crosschecked. A warning message is given out in case of any inconsistency between the PTKP details of the two Infotypes.

In the PTKP Details section, the Number of Dependents field includes the Use Family info option. If you select this option, the system determines the number of dependents from the data entered in the Family/Related Person Infotype (0021).
