
Updating a Customer Hierarchy
Use
If you change data in a customer master record (for example, the pricing indicator) that is already assigned as part of a customer hierarchy, the system does not automatically update the data in the hierarchy assignments. You must update the customer hierarchy in the next call up.
You have two options:
Updating of part of a hierarchy is quicker and puts less strain on the system.
When updating the whole hierarchy, all valid customers in the customer hierarchy on one date are updated. The customer data, that cannot be displayed on the screen during processing, as there is less space for displaying on the entry screen, is also updated.

Update the whole hierarchy
The system confirms that all assignments were updated.
