
Processing a Work Item for an iPPE Object
Use
On the object-specific page of an iPPE object, when you navigate within a structure, you can see the work items for this object.

Since you are usually dealing with large volumes of data, which can seriously impede system performance, we recommend that you use the implementation of BAdI

The attribute (n) specifies the number of work items for the iPPE object.
You see a list of the work items that reference the selected iPPE object. The following information is displayed, so that you can quickly get an overview of the work items:
If you have not been determined as the processor of a work item, you will not have the authorization to execute the work item.
The detail data of the work item is displayed, such as the task description.
The definition of the workflow task determines the contents and how to proceed.
If you process a work item that does not support data input (import parameters), you can still complete the work item.

If the definition contains a dialog step, processing continues in the Business Workplace. This link is active if the ITS is installed, and XXXX is entered in the table.
You can process definitions with object type

If the system is set up to copy the logon data from R/3 for logging on to the ITS for service
Your system administrator may set up Single Sign-On (SSO) for logon.
Depending on the status of the work item and the properties of the task behind it, you can execute functions by choosing pushbuttons. For example, you can send the document to another user, or save it to a folder.
Once you have finished processing, finish your work in the ITS processing window.
