Creation of Economic Statistics (Report RPCISTA0)

Use

All companies and co-ops in the building sector and all economic suborganizations involved in mining, production of goods, production of energy and water, and construction, as well as those companies that provide services in these fields, are required to put together and submit official economic statistics. The Austrian Federal Office on Statistics (OESTAT) requires this information in order to fulfill requirements set by the European Union.

To create these statistics for the OESTAT, you use the report RPCISTA0.

Prerequisites

The following are prerequisites for creating the economic statistics for a certain month:

You have successfully closed out the payroll run for the payroll period to be evaluated.
Your company’s system administration team has made the following necessary settings in Customizing:

In Customizing for Personnel Administration under Organizational Data ® Organizational Assignment in the section Additional Organizational Assignment Austria. The section includes the following topics:

Data for your personnel subareas

Data for your employer assignment units

In Customizing for Payroll Austria, under Accounting with Administrations and Institutions in the section Evaluations for the Austrian Federal Office on Statistics.

Features

Depending on the selection in the report selection screen, the report creates either the form for single companies (form type B ) or the form for multiple companies (form type U ). The following data is included in these forms:

Earnings in evaluation month: Gross, net, and special payments along with severance pays in the various employment classes	X	X

The data display follows the OESTAT’s print type templates.

If errors occur during processing, the report issues an error log at the end of the forms.
