Use

The ITS setup procedure for an administration instance includes installation of its_adm , which is the package of files required by the ITS to drive ITS Administration. This package contains the following services:

You can use this service to manage multiple AGate instances running on different machines and multiple AGate processes running on the same machine

Note

From Release 6.10, you should perform all ITS administration tasks with the service admin (formerly known as adminremote ).

If, however, you are performing administration tasks at the local machine only, you can also use the service adminold (formerly known as admin ).

Procedure

  1. Open your Web browser and start ITS Administration by entering a URL with the syntax
  2. <protocol>://<server>:<port>/<execdir>/<wgateexec>/<service>/!

where execdir is the directory location of the WGate executable, wgateexec is the WGate executable itself and service is either admin or adminold . The values of execdir and wgateexec depend on the Web server you are using.

    http://MyWebServer1:81/scripts/wgate/admin/!

If you have a Web server called MyWebServer2 that is supported by Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and listens on port 82 and you want to manage instances hosted at the local machine only, you could enter the following URL:

    http://MyWebServer2:82/scripts/wgate/adminold/!
