This infotype stores all the information about an employee's private pension. It includes the employer's contribution as well as the employee's contribution.

The information is used for calculating the contributions to be paid into the employee's pension schemes.

Three types of pension schemes can be stored in this infotype:

• The company's own pension scheme to which the company itself contributes
• An employee's own voluntary pension scheme in a pension company of his/her own choice
• AMP (Arbejdsmarkedspension). The AMP pension scheme is based on collective bargaining agreements(overenskomstforhandlinger) with certain trade unions. The agreement specifies for instance how much the employer as well as the employee have to pay.

The infotype also stores the bank details as well as the details of the pension company which is used when paying contributions into the pension company.

During the employment there might be changes in the employee's pension situation. New records can then be created based on the old pension record. This also applies if the employee decides to change the contribution made to the pension scheme.
