PC Connections to a Windows Printer
The standard connection to a PC printer is a remote or "PC" connection. This connection is for PCs that do not have an SAP spool application server running on them.
In a PC connection, the SAP System passes print data to the transfer program running on the PC. This program, SAPlpd, passes the data on to the Windows Print Manager for printing.
