
Logging Output Data
If you suspect that there are problems with the output data sent to a printer, you can log this data. You can activate logging of output data for a specific printer in the Device definition.
Logging the data captures it in the output log. You can then display the output log and the data in the output controller by choosing System
® Services ® Output controller. The data can also be displayed in hexadecimal form (To activate output data logging, proceed as follows:
For access method L, you can also display the print command. This is the command that the R/3 System uses to pass an output request to the host system spool.
Do not alter the settings of any other test tool options.
