Termination of Contract Infotype (0551)
Definition
You enter in this infotype all data relevant to the expiration of the work contract. This infotype is included within the personnel action Termination of Contract.
The data in this infotype is necessary to calculate the severance pay. Therefore, if you do not enter data in this infotype, the system cancels the final employee payroll run.
Structure
Termination of Contract Type
The termination of contract type is a subtype of this infotype and shows the cause or reason for the contract termination. This data is important for specifying the severance pay.
Notice
This indicator specifies whether or not the system calculates severance pay due to termination.
Data for determining severance pay
Calculated seniority: this section of the screen displays the seniority calculated by the system according to the employee entry date or data from the Date Specifications infotype (0041), if it exists. You enter this seniority in years, months and/or days.
Entered seniority: you can enter a different employee seniority to the one calculated by the system in this section of the screen.
Using two radio buttons, you can enter the law governing the calculation of employee severance pay.
This field lets you group employees for calculating their severance pay.
Severance to pay
In this section of the screen you display and/or enter data relevant to the desired severance pay.
Off-cycle payroll data
In this section, stored employee data is displayed, should the compensation pay have been calculated using an off-cycle payroll run (Off-cycle payroll run report: Leaving employees – HARCTER0).
