You register users for a product in order to automatically inform them of new product versions. With this function, for example, sales employees receive the latest information on each new product version.

• You are authorized to process the recipient list for document distribution.

The notification of users uses the functions of document management. All recipient types of SAPoffice can receive documents by using document distribution.

You can use all distribution types that are defined for document distribution. The distribution type determines how the recipient receives the documents.

For receipt by mail, you can design SAPscript forms that are sent to the registered users.

To register users in the recipient list for a configuration folder:

1. If you have already created a configuration definition or folder, on the initial screen of the replication workbench, choose the tab pages Portfolio and Configuration Definition or Folder.

You can also select according to objects in folders, recipients, distributions already executed (replications) and baselines.

2. Select your configuration folder by enter the name of the configuration folder in the Folder field.
3. Choose . The system goes to the product structure browser.
4. In the left-hand screen area, select the configuration folder () by double-clicking on it.

5. Choose the Recipient List tab page.
6. Enter one or more recipients.
7. Select a distribution type that is not ALE.

8. Save your entries.
