Use

By assigning changed objects (tables, change documents) to the required transactions, you can create a graphical navigation aid. This makes it easier for you to find the objects again at a later date. In the SAP Easy Access menu, the transactions and their assigned objects are displayed under Own assignments.

Prerequisites

You have the authorization for this function. If you do not, contact your system administrator.

Procedure

You make this setting in Customizing under Logistics - General ® Engineering Change Management ® Logging ® Change Transaction/Object Assignment.

Create navigation aid with transaction AUT02

  1. Call up transaction AUT02.
  2. A list of transactions with their assigned tables and change document objects is displayed.

  3. Choose New entries.
  4. In the first column, enter the transaction that you want to assign a table or change document object to.
  5. In the second column, enter the technical name of the change document object or in the third column, enter the technical name of the table.
  6. Note

You can assign either one change document object or one table to a transaction, but not both, per line.

  7. Choose Save.

Create navigation aid in the transaction Change configuration of logging

If you have authorization for the transaction Change configuration of logging, you can create the navigation aid there, too:

  1. Select the table that you want to assign to a transaction.
  2. On the icon bar, choose Change.
  3. In the Assigned transaction code, enter the transaction that you want to assign the table to.
  4. Choose Copy and then Save.

Note

SAP recommends that you carry out the assignment in transaction AUT02, as this is easier to use.

Result

In transactions AUT01 and AUT10, the selected transaction and its assigned table appear in the Own assignments menu tree.
