You are at the User Group: Initial Screen

Using Environment ® Directories, you can display the following directories:

To view one of these directories, proceed as follows:

User Group Directory

  1. Choose Environment ® Directories ® User Groups or the input help for the User Group field.
  2. You get to the User Groups dialog box with a directory of the user groups that have already been created. Here you can select the User Group Name.

  3. Select the user group you want.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The User Group: Initial Screen appears. The system displays the selected user group in the corresponding field.

User and User Group Directory

  1. Choose Environment ® Directories ® User/User Groups.
  2. You get to the Directory of Users and User Groups screen.

  3. If you want to restrict the directory to individual users or user groups, enter the required data.
  4. Note

    If you do not make any restrictions, the system creates a directory for all users and the user groups to which these users belong.

  5. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Execute.
  6. The system creates a directory of the users and their user groups.

  7. To choose a user group, select it from the directory. This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Choose.

The User Group: Initial Screen appears. The system displays the selected user group in the corresponding field.

InfoSet Directory

  1. Choose Environment ® Directories ® InfoSets or the input help for the InfoSets field.
  2. This takes you to the Restrict Value Range dialog box.

  3. Enter the required data.
  4. Note

    If you do not make any restrictions, the system creates a directory of all InfoSets

  5. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Continue.
  6. You get to a dialog box with the directory of your selected InfoSets.

    Note

    Calling up the corresponding function in the component InfoSet Maintenance gives you the same result.

  7. To choose an InfoSet, select it from the directory.

The User Group: Initial Screen appears. The system displays the selected InfoSet in the corresponding field.

Note

If you want to know which InfoSets are assigned to a particular user group, display the user group.
