Procedure

  1. Choose Portfolio ® Rollover ® File Processing ® File ® Edit.
  2. Enter the Company code, values for the Main file ID and the File name of the file you want to display.
  3. Choose Enter.
  4. On the selection screen, under Register overview choose the register of the file you want to edit.
  5. Choose one of the following functions:

    1. Register content
    2. File object content
  6. Choose Register content to display the loans in the register you selected. These loans can now be processed.
  7. The File/Register Overview screen appears. It comprises the following areas:

    1. File/register information
    2. Loans overview
    3. Direct selection
    4. File/register information

This section of the screen displays the details relating to the file and the register. You cannot change this data.

      Loans overview

The middle section of the screen lists all the loans assigned to the selected file and register, including the related rollover data. You can edit the loan from this screen, in other words you can suspend loans, reassign them (change register status) or remove loans.

    5. Choose Restore to return a contract you have suspended to its original register.
    6. Position the cursor on a loan and choose Goto ® Details to call up information on the individual loans.
    7. You can also insert other loans which do not appear in the register overview. If you do this, they automatically appear in the not processed register.
    8. To do this, return to the File Overview screen. Choose Insert loan or, if you want to reset the last rollover, choose Reinsert loan.

Enter the Contract number in the dialog box which appears. Choose Continue. The loan is inserted in the file.

If this contract has already been assigned to another file, confirm that you require the file to be changed. The loan is then entered in the register to which it was previously assigned in the other file. At the same time, it is removed from the original file.

    9. To facilitate processing of large data volumes, you can restrict the selection of loans. Choose Choose. The Select Options screen appears. You can restrict the selection of loans to be processed here. Only the loans you have selected are flagged for processing in the Loans Overview.
    10. To group loans that are to be processed in the same way, you can flag the checkboxes for each loan on the left-hand side of the screen. You can also choose Select all or Deselect all. When you call up the relevant processing functions, all the selected loans are incorporated in one processing activity.

    11. Choose Functions to process a loan contract. The Select Edit Function dialog box appears. Choose the relevant function, depending on whether you want to process several loans at once (N) or only one single loan (1). Some of the functions are dialog functions and some are automatic processing steps (report programs), for which you need to enter parameters. Double-click on the function you have selected to execute it.
    12. There are two different types of non-dialog functions for loans given. For create functions (such as Create rollover offer) you need to enter the rollover table and the rollover date as start parameters. For print functions, you only need to specify which documents are to be printed. For both functions, you need to enter the execution parameters (online, batch). If you choose online processing, the system displays a log after processing is complete. If you choose batch processing, the processing status is set to X (flagged for processing).
    13. Depending on the processing activity you have carried out, the contract automatically appears in a new register in the file. The system also makes register changes automatically, for instance if certain deadlines are exceeded. The system informs you of these changes via a dialog box.

    14. In the Loans overview, you can double-click on an entry to call up the default function defined in Customizing. When the system is delivered by SAP to the customer, the default function is the individual conversion function for loans (in other words, Roll Over Contract: Condition Header Overview).
    15. Individual rollover:

Double-click on an entry in the Condition Header Overview to call up the processing screen for conditions. If necessary, edit the conditions and save your changes.

You will always need to enter the conditions for loans taken.

      Direct selection

Here you can access loans directly, even though they are not in the file which you are currently processing.

You can make entries in the following fields:

      1. Register
      2. Contract number
      3. Activity number

You can select contracts and activities from all files. The system searches for the corresponding loan. You then have the option of switching the file. If you switch the file, a dialog box appears requiring confirmation.

  8. Choose File object content to edit loans across all registers at the same time.
  9. The same functions are available as for step 5.

  10. Choose Edit <->Disp. to change from processing mode to display mode and vice versa.
