Splitting a Contract
Usage
You use this function to split a contract between one or several contracts for accounting purposes or to transfer parts of a contract to one or several other contracts.
You can use the Split Contract function for both loans given and loans taken. You can only carry out a retrospective capital transfer for loans given that are managed on the basis of customer accounts (in other words, loans for which payments are not processed using the Payment Request function).
Prerequisites
See:
Capital TransferProcedure
For more information on the procedure, see the documentation for

The total of the transfer amounts must not be greater than the remaining debt of the source loan. The individual transfer amount must not be greater than the disbursement commitment of the relevant target loan.
If you set the Transfer proportionate discount indicator, the system transfers the unused portion of the premium or discount in proportion to the capital amount to be transferred. If you leave the Disc.prem.def.not to revenue field empty, the system also carries out a deferral run for the discount one day before the transfer key date.
