Use

The standard reports use only some of the available selection criteria. All available selection criteria are listed below.

Features

General Constraints

The controlling area currently set limits the selection to the sales orders that were created in a sales area that belongs to that controlling area (assignment is made through sales organization -> company code -> controlling area). Only the sales document items that carry costs and revenues are selected.

In the standard reports only the following sales documents are supported:

Selection Characteristics in Sales Document Headers

Selection Characteristics of Sales Document Items

Further Selection Options

The standard system has results analysis version 0 as the default.

This indicator is only meaningful in a scenario with nonvaluated sales order stock. All key figures based on the values of the selected sales order item plus the values of the manufacturing orders and internal orders assigned to this item are calculated.

When this indicator is set, you can select those sales order items for which the balance of actual costs and actual revenues and actual settlement of the sales order item is not zero.

Exception Rules

Exceptions are used to display traffic light symbols (red/yellow/green) at materials whose variances exceed a predefined threshold. You specify the reference for the threshold values by choosing a rule basis (such as actual costs absolute). The percentage or absolute threshold values you specify tell the system by how much the reference value must be exceeded before it displays a traffic light symbol on the material.

In sales order lists that display the sales document headers, an exception is set in the sales document header if at least one item fulfills the exception rule.

The following rules can be used as the base figure:

The exceptions must be defined during selection. You cannot change them when you are displaying the sales order list.

The exception conditions with multiple checks (such as absolute and percentage) are OR conditions. This means that only one of the threshold values needs to be exceeded to set a yellow or red signal.

Recommendation

The SAP standard system uses predefined selection variants. From such selection variants it is possible for you to display all available options and set up your own selection variants in your personal work area (favorites).
