The Leave Maintenance infotype is used to store adjustment values made to leave types. It allows for:

• Entering new leave types
• Adjusting entitlement values
• Adjusting accrual values
• Changing the leave accrual ID
• Changing the leave anniversary date

The Leave Maintenance infotype forms part of the hiring action. It shows the leave types, and their entitlement values, as entered through Leave entitlement. If the employee has any outstanding entitlement or accrual values, for example, owing from a previous position or employer, these can be entered.

All changes to leave types after hiring are done through the leave view and stored in the Leave Maintenance infotype.
