Use

Print function for multiple letters of a correspondence application (such as master data sheets for all rental units of a building).

Features

Each mass print program (such as business entity general letter) implements one single correspondence application. You have to make the basic settings for a correspondence application in Customizing. Choose the following path:

Activities

Access the function for each Real Estate object in the application menu by choosing:

Flexible Real Estate ® Correspondence ® Master Data or Contracts

The Objects and Partners tabs are part of the logical data bank that is used in each case. Enter the selection criteria with which you wish to search for the contract or master data objects to be printed.

The other tabs depend on the type of correspondence and determine the output of the documents. Correspondence Data and Output Control appear in every correspondence screen. The three other tabs Special Parameters, User Fields and Text Editor can be displayed, depending on the settings of the correspondence application.

When you have entered your data, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Execute (F8). A list of documents to be printed is displayed.

You can navigate to the master data object by pressing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Master Data or to the contract by pressing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Contract. If you have defined a recipient, you can display this data by pressing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Recipient.

If you wish to hide the document list display, deselect the Output List indicator in the Output Control tab. All documents found by the system are output.

Output Media

You can send documents by e-mail or fax. To do this, you need to enter the e-mail address of fax number in the business partner data. To make use of e-mail and fax, the SAPconnect interface has to be configured. Carry out the necessary settings in Customizing under:

Then carry out the necessary settings in Customizing for Flexible Real Estate Management:

Log

The system issues a correspondence log for each output activity and saves it as a SAP Application Log. The log is displayed if errors or warnings are generated. In each tab, you can navigate to the log of the correspondence application by pressing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Display Last Log (Ctr+F1) or to an overview of all logs of the correspondence application by pressing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Overview.

Language Settings

You have to make certain Customizing settings to guarantee the automatic determination of the document language. Choose the following path:

Sort Variants

You can define sort variants for the mass print function. To activate the Sort Variant function area in the Output Control tab, you have to make the necessary settings in Customizing. Choose the following path:
