Procedure

The rest of the procedure is the same in all cases above:

  1. If you want to execute several partial conversions choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  2. Specify the desired dates and quantities.

Note

During conversion, the system uses the scheduling type that is specified for the order type and plant entered in Customizing for Shop Floor Control, by choosing Operations ® Scheduling ® Specify Scheduling Parameters. However, this can be changed once the conversion to the individual orders has taken place.

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Generate.

The system generates a production order for each line. Since the orders created have not yet been saved you at first receive temporary order numbers (for example, %0000000001).

Note

As soon as a partial quantity has been converted to a production order the corresponding line in the screen can no longer be deleted. If you want to delete this, you must leave the transaction and execute a new partial conversion.

  1. If you want to make more changes to a created order, select the line and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The screen Create production order: Header appears.

Once you have made the changes, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to branch back to the Query subset / order correction screen.

  1. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

Result

The system saves the production orders created.

If the total quantities of the created production orders is less than the remaining planned order quantity and the indicator Delete planned order has not been set, the planned order quantity is reduced accordingly.

If the total quantity of the created production orders is greater than or equal to the remaining planned order quantity, the planned order is deleted.
