Data Filter
Use
This function enables you to edit master data more easily. If you select a data record on the Waste generation, Waste disposal, or Disposal channel tab page, only the data for the selected data records is displayed to you on the subsequent tab pages.
Features
You edit master data by first choosing a waste management business partner. This is displayed to you on the first tab page, which has the role of the waste management business partner as its title. If you then choose the Disposal channel or Waste approval tab page for processing further data, all disposal channels and waste approvals that contain the waste management business partner of the first tab page are normally displayed. If, however, you select a data record on the Waste generation, Waste disposal, or Disposal channel tab page, the data filter is used to display to you only those data records that contain data from the selected data record or that have been assigned to that data record. The following data records, which you can edit, are therefore displayed:

*) = Waste generations and waste disposals cannot be directly assigned to a waste approval. The data filter therefore takes into account the disposal channels as described. If the corresponding data does not occur in disposal channels or the disposal channels have not been assigned to a waste approval, no waste approvals are displayed.
*) = Waste transports cannot be directly assigned to a waste approval. Since, moreover, waste transports do not occur in disposal channels in the standard system and the Disposal channel tab page is hidden for waste transporters, the data filter does not take into account any disposal channels here and therefore does not have any effect. All the waste approvals to which the waste transporter is assigned are therefore always displayed on the Waste approval tab page, irrespective of whether or not you select a waste transport on the Waste transport tab page beforehand.
