Revaluation

Use

You use the automatic planning method Revaluation to apply percentage additions/deductions to value fields.

Prerequisites

You need to have created a revaluation key or an access key to a segment-specific revaluation key in Customizing for Profitability Analysis under Planning ® Planning Aids ® Revaluation Key.

Features

In the parameter set, you can specify the following:

Enter either the revaluation key or the access key that is to be applied in the revaluation.
If you select the Inverse computation option, the system reverses the sign of the revaluation key.

Example

Revaluation of 20% with an initial value of 120

Result without inverse computation: 144
Result with inverse computation: 100

In this way, you can reverse any previous computations.

Example

The initial value is 144, which was calculated without inverse computation above.
When you repeat the revaluation with inverse computation, this yields 120.

By making the appropriate setting, you specify, on the one hand, whether the planning method is to be executed in a test run or in an update run, or, on the other hand, whether this decision is to be postponed until the point of execution of the parameter set.
You can jump to a background processing screen.
In the Value fields tab page, you specify which specific value fields are to be changed.
