Concurrent Employment (PA-CE)

Group of personnel assignments of a concurrently employed person to which the same grouping value for the XXNT grouping reason (Net, Retroactive Accounting, Payment) is assigned.

SAP R/3 uses this grouping, for example, in Payroll for the functions XNET (Calculation of Net Amount) , XPAY (Determining Payments), XRETR (Retroactive Accounting), and XWPBP (Compare WPBP Splits for Concurrent Employment). Grouping according to the XXNT grouping is performed differently in the Payroll country versions.

Examples

• In Canada, SAP R/3 defines the personnel assignments according to employer. The employer is defined by the registration number. The registration numbers are assigned to personnel areas in Customizing. Here, all personnel assignments of a concurrently employed person to which the same registration number is assigned by personnel area, belong to the same net, retroactive, and payment grouping.

• For country grouping 99 (Other Countries), SAP R/3 groups the personnel assignments according to legal person. Legal persons are assigned to personnel areas in Customizing. Here, all personnel assignments of a concurrently employed person that are assigned to the same legal person by personnel area, belong to the same net, retroactive, and payment grouping.
