As well as basic customizing for archiving, you must stipulate the retention period which the preprocessing program evaluates in the archivability check.

The retention period is the timespan (in calendar months) which must have elapsed between the last change to a document and the preprocessing program or, more precisely, the setting of the archiving indicator.

Go to the Funds Management IMG and maintain the retention period using the step Define document types.
