Use

If you want to perform an unplanned stability test (that is, one that does not occur on one of the scheduled test dates) for a storage condition during a stability study, you can create a manual inspection lot for the stability sample. As in the initial test, you can flexibly select the inspection specifications from an inspection plan and change the specifications, if necessary. The system links a manual inspection lot for a storage condition to the corresponding stability study through the central document flow. The system also treats and displays the manual inspection lots separately in the stability history.

Prerequisites

Make sure the following conditions have been met:

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Logistics ® Quality Management ® Stability Study ® Stability Study ® Change.
  2. The initial screen for changing a stability study appears.

  3. On the initial screen, enter the key of the stability study you want to process and then choose Enter.
  4. The screen for changing the stability study data appears.

  5. In the action box on the right side of the screen, choose the follow-up function Manual Inspection Lot for Storage Condition.
  6. A dialog box for creating the inspection lot appears.

  7. Select the row in the table containing the storage condition for which you want to create the inspection lot.
  8. Choose one of the following options in the dialog box, depending on how you want to proceed:

A second dialog box for selecting the inspection specifications is displayed.

  1. If necessary, change the proposed value for the Inspection Type field.
  2. Use the possible entries help for the Task List Group field to select an inspection plan.
  3. If necessary, enter a short text for the inspection lot. You can edit this text later when you process the inspection lot in the worklist.
  4. Choose Create Inspection Lot.

A dialog box for selecting the inspection characteristics is displayed. This dialog box contains a list of all inspection characteristics contained in the selected inspection plan along with their default inspection specifications.

  1. If necessary, change the default values (for example, tolerances) of the inspection characteristics you want use for the stability test.
  2. If you change a default value for one or more inspection characteristics, choose Check to verify the validity of your changes before you copy the inspection characteristics.
  3. Select the inspection characteristics you want to copy into the inspection lot and then choose Copy (or Copy All if you selected all characteristics for testing).

Result

The stability study is saved, an inspection lot is created, and the selected inspection characteristics are copied into the inspection lot.
