An analysis of type, quantity, and location of wastes recovered (recycled) or disposed of.

In Germany, the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act (KrW-/AbfG) prescribes that waste generators must produce a waste life-cycle analysis if they generate more than a specific quantity of hazardous waste of one waste code in a year.

The waste life-cycle analysis must be submitted to the authorities on request. It is often used for creating a waste management concept.
