Use

You use the box functions to set boxes for cell borders in different line thicknesses and colors:

Note

With fine box lines, the Table Painter displays only the lower box border of a line type.

Prerequisites

To set boxes for one or more cells, you must deactivate the draw mode This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. Then you can select cells:

Procedure

Setting Boxes for one Side of the Cell

  1. From the Box group box select a color and the line thickness you want to use for drawing the box.
  2. Select one or more cells.
  3. Click the desired pushbutton Upper Frame , Lower Frame , Right Frame , or Left Frame .

Outer and Inner Frame

  1. From the Box group box select a color and the line thickness you want to use for drawing the box.
  2. Select an area covering several adjacent cells (for an outer frame, also one cell makes sense).
  3. Click Outer Frame or Inner Frame :

Resetting Boxes

To reset the box settings for selected cells, click Reset Box ( This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).
