When the end of a calendar year has passed, Canadian enterprises are required to file summaries of the annual earnings of all employees, in all provinces, to the Canadian Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA). Furthermore, if employees of a Canadian enterprise work in the province of Québec, then that enterprise must also submit earnings summaries for these employees to le Ministère du Revenu du Québec (MRQ).

Using the Year-End Reporting utility within the Payroll Canada component of mySAP Human Resources, your enterprise can generate and print data for selected year-end tax forms for submission to CCRA as well as MRQ and for distribution to employees.

Before you may use the Year-End Reporting utility to generate year-end tax forms, you must first make the appropriate settings in the Reporting and Statistics chapter of the Payroll Canada Implementation Guide (IMG).

The Year-End Reporting utility uses payroll results generated in the Payroll Canada component of mySAP HR and master data from the Personnel Administration component of mySAP HR, to compile data for submission to CCRA and MRQ and for distribution to employees.

To access the Year End Reporting utility, choose the following menu path from the main Payroll Canada menu:

The Year-End Reporting utility enables your enterprise to generate data for the following year-end tax forms in both magnetic media and printed formats.
