Use

Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) requires all Canadian employers to issue a Record of Employment (ROE) to employees who cease to receive earnings for seven consecutive calendar days for a variety of reasons (e.g. shortage of work, dismissal, leave of absence, illness or injury). Within SAP Payroll, Record of Employment (ROE) functionality enables you to generate ROE forms containing all form data mandated by HRDC.

Prerequisites

Before you may generate ROE forms, it is required that you have performed the configuration activities found within the Payroll Canada Implementation Guide (IMG) under Reporting and Statistics ® Record of Employment (ROE).

Activities

To execute Record of Employment functionality, select the following menu path from the main Personnel Administration Canada menu: Info System ® Reports ® Compliance ® Record of Employment.
